Defeating a powerful Kemono requires a lot more work than you think.

In the world of video games, there is nothing quite like the thrill of overcoming a difficult challenge, particularly when it comes to defeating a powerful boss. Players often spend hours honing their skills, strategizing, and testing different techniques to finally emerge victorious. However, what happens when even the developers themselves struggle to defeat their own creations?

This is the case with the newly released action role-playing game, Wild Hearts. Developed by the Omega Force, a division of Koei Tecmo, known primarily for their Dynasty Warriors series – Wild Hearts seeks to capture the appeal of Capcom’s popular Monster Hunter franchise. However, it seems that the game’s difficulty level has proved to be a challenge not only for players, but for the game’s own co-director, Takuto Edagawa.

Wild Hearts Co-director Admits to Kemono Difficulty

In a recent interview, Edagawa revealed that he found it incredibly difficult to defeat the fiery creatures known as Kemono in Wild Hearts, failing every time he tried to face them. This admission from the game’s own director is a clear indication of just how tough the game can be.

Despite the level of difficulty, the development team behind Wild Hearts has been careful to introduce several mechanics to encourage new players to give the game a try.

One of these is the new Karakuri crafting system, which allows players to instantly construct objects during battles to give them an edge over their opponents.

Whether it’s a box to climb on or a spring to help them evade incoming attacks, the Karakuri system is designed to help players even the playing field against the powerful Kemono.

The idea for the Karakuri system came about when Edagawa and his co-director, Hirata, realized that the Kemono were simply too difficult for players to defeat.

Rather than nerfing the creatures’ abilities, they decided to give players the power of the Karakuri to help them in their quest. However, even this new system presented its own set of challenges as the developers tried to find the right balance between the strength of the Kemono and the strength of the players.

The end result is a game that is undeniably tough, but also incredibly satisfying to play. Wild Hearts challenges players to push themselves to the limit, to strategize, and to come up with creative solutions to the challenges they face. It’s a game that rewards patience and perseverance, one that is sure to provide hours of entertainment for those willing to take on the challenge.
