What New Game does Shadow of the Colossus Creator have in Store for Us In 2023
Fumito Ueda is a well-known name in the video game industry thanks to his work as the team leader at Japan Studio on such games as Ico (2001) and Shadow of the Colossus (2005), and he directed and designed The Last Guardian (2016) at his own studio, GenDesign. There are a lot of people who are looking forward to seeing what he and his new team at genDesign come up with because his games have gained a cult following and a lot of people are fans of his work despite the fact that he is no longer at PlayStation.
It’s been unknown how long the studio has been working on its debut title, but 2023 is looking like a strong possibility for revealing details. Ueda asked for fans’ encouragement in a Famitsu-published New Year’s message, saying, “All of genDesign is working hard to be able to finally announce something.”
Additionally, genDesign tweeted, “It’s finally a year where we can deliver a lot of topics to everyone!” We are making every effort, so I hope you enjoy the results.
Very little information is available about genDesign’s game, but in 2020 it was announced that the studio had formed a publishing partnership with Epic Games. And two years ago, a small piece of the game’s art was released to the public.
We can only wait in anticipation for Fumito Ueda and his team to reveal their game in the hopes that it will blow our minds like his other game titles.
