Taiwan Digital Game Committee Gives Silent Hill: The Short Message Rating

Ready yourself, Silent Hill devotees: The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has just released their rating for Silent Hill: The Short Message.

Silent Hill: The Short Message was notably absent from the presentation Konami released announcing the return of the Silent Hill franchise. The game was rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee in Korea in September 2022, but Konami made no mention of this in their presentation. Nonetheless, it appears that a rating has also been assigned to the game in Taiwan.

The PlayStation 5 version of Silent Hill: The Short Message has been given a rating by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee. Also, the website entry for The Short Message provides some information about the game, such as a synopsis and official artwork.

A Sneak Peek at the Plot Summary

Anita came to an empty apartment in order to meet her friend Maya, and somehow woke up to find herself trapped in it. Before her trauma destroys her will to live, she must overcome her fears and the monsters that lurk in the halls to learn the truth about what has happened to her.

Konami appears to be developing and publishing the unannounced game for the PS5.

This lines up with the leaked screenshot from Silent Hill: Sakura, which resembles the official artwork for The Short Message. Hopefully, more information will be forthcoming in the coming months, along with the other announced Silent Hill titles.
