Additionally, over 50% of Switch owners in France also own “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe“, which sold an additional 445,000 copies in the country in 2022.

Pokémon Franchise Breaks Sales Record In France

The Pokémon franchise also saw significant success in France, with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet breaking franchise records by selling 701,000 copies in less than two months after their releases. Also, Pokémon Legends: Arceus sold more copies than any other single game in France in 2022, putting FIFA 23 in second place.
