Deadpool is Going the Whole Nine Yards!
On January 26th, the popular strategy game Marvel’s Midnight Suns introduced its first paid DLC character, Deadpool. Midnight Suns main superhero roster consists of a total of twelve playable superheroes, namely; Wolverine Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Magik, Iron Man, Hulk, Nico Minoru, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Capt Marvel, Capt America, and Blade.
Prior to its release, publisher 2K confirmed that the roster of Midnight Suns would be expanding in the early months of 2023, starting with the arrival of Deadpool. The first of four planned post-launch DLC packs, named “The Good, The Bad, and The Undead,” has now become available.
Deadpool, who is considered an “in-your-face damage dealer” and brings to the game 10 unique hero abilities, new story missions featuring new enemy types, and a variety of new cosmetic items. Players can interact with Deadpool to increase their friendship, and the new addition also introduces a new Abbey Upgrade research project, the “Food Truck”.
Deadpool is included in the £39.99 season pass for Midnight Suns and is also available for individual purchase.Â

In the upcoming months, three more DLC releases will be launched, each introducing a new playable hero: Venom, Morbius, and Storm.
Christian Donlan of Eurogamer had high praise for both the hero roster of Marvel’s Midnight Suns and the video game itself and called the video game – “great tactical fun nestled in a sweet-natured superhero dollhouse” before awarding the game a recommended badge in his 2022 review.
