Capcom Commemorates 25th Anniversary of Resident Evil Gaming Series Excellence with $214 Box Eet Herbal Drink

GameFlavor and Capcom have made a drink together to honor the past 25 years of Capcom’s Resident Evil series success.

Capcom (the Resident Evil developer) and gaming drink maker GameFlavor have joined forces to release a one-of-a-kind series of beverages based on the Resident Evil franchise as a belated 25th anniversary celebration.

With the success of Resident Evil 7 and the well-received remakes of the classic horror games Resident Evil 2 and 3, the series has witnessed a huge comeback in the past few years.

Resident Evil RE:Verse, a packed-in spinoff, and Resident Evil Village, the eighth main series game, were both released in 2021 and in conjunction with GameFlavor, Capcom has now released a limited-edition beverage inspired by their hugely successful Resident Evil series.

Resident Evil Not New to Cross-promotion Deals

Over the course of the series’ long existence, Resident Evil has frequently been used in cross-promotions with a wide range of brands. In honor of their 25th year in business, the creators of the tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege collaborated with the video game to add a skin based on the series’ beloved protagonist, Leon Kennedy.

Multiple live-action and animated films, as well as a Netflix series consisting of eight episodes, have been based on the Resident Evil series. Now, thanks to a new partnership, Resident Evil will have its own beverage line, with flavors and ingredients based on the series’ signature herbs and wellness sprays made by GameFlavor.

GameFlavor and horror franchise Resident Evil have unveiled their latest collaboration, a line of herbal beverages inspired by the hugely successful game series.

Drinks in cucumber and mint-lime flavors will be available in 330 ml cans that are styled after first-aid sprays for the promotional set. A representative from GameFlavor also confirmed that all the beverages in the box set will be alcohol-free.

Several other collectible items, such as ink ribbons infused with various herbs and a deck of non-alcoholic drink recipe cards inspired by the Resident Evil series, will be included in the box set

aswell.One spray cap,which can convert any standard soda or beer can into afauxfirst-aidbottle, is included in the set as well.

There is going to be a limited supply of the Resident Evil drink set, so fans who want one better act fast or risk missing out.

Priced at $214 and expected to drop into consumers’ hands sometime in the third quarter of 2023, the drink set includes four drinks and all of the supplementary accessories. There are only 4,750 box set units available for purchase, so it may be wise to start saving up from now.

VR Versions for Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village Out this Year

It may also interest you to know that Resident Evil 4 Remake is billed for release early this year. The announcement of the remake of the fourth installment in the horror series was made by Capcom last year, but the good news for virtual reality fans is that Capcom has confirmed that both Resident Evil Village and the Resident Evil 4 Remake will have VR versions.

As a matter of fact, the Resident Evil Village VR set is due for launch by the end of February, 2023. Indeed this year looks set to offer fans of Resident Evil video games a lot of goodies from the series inspired Herbal beverage by GameFlavor to the VR sets and the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
