A New IP PlayStation Sci-fi Game to be Launched? - Video Leaked!
PlayStation, in partnership with XDEV, is currently developing a new game using the Unreal Engine.
A short video of what appears to be a third-person, over-the-shoulder military combat sci-fi game genre has been leaked online, presumably from a new IP PlayStation game. The game, which will ostensibly be an RPG, is being developed by PlayStation’s XDev studio on Unreal Engine 5 and is expected to be launched on the PS5 console.
The gameplay footage and the information about the science fiction setting were initially shared on IconEra by John Elden Ring, who also confirmed that the game was being developed on Unreal Engine 5 by XDev.
All that was revealed in the leaked footage is a combat-ready man pointing his assault weapon at a huge alien-like creature while walking along a run-down bridge. The footage ends suddenly just as the man seemingly looks poised to open fire at the creature leaving everyone watching with more questions than answers.
It is unknown how long it will be before we receive official information on the game, but the promise of a major new intellectual property makes it hard to remain unenthusiastic.
